First Day of School - September 5, 2024
(3K – 5th Grade)
• First day for all scholars is Thursday, September 5, 2024
• First day 3K and PreK is Thursday, September 5, 2024 (staggered A/B schedule)
• First full day for 3K and PreK is Monday, September 9, 2024

Hours/ Attendance
• School begins at 8:10 am for all scholars.
• Scholars arriving after 8:15 am must go to the main office for a late pass.
• Doors open for breakfast at 7:30 am (K-5th Grade)
• School ends at 2:30 pm

Enrollment
• Parents must complete an enrollment packet before student can attend school.
• Parents will need to provide immunization/health records at the time of enrollment. Scholars will not be enrolled without being immunized.
• Please contact the school nurse with any questions or concerns.

Communication
• P.S. 75 will utilize the NYCPS Insight Portal to communicate with families.
• Check your child’s backpack daily for school notices.
• We strongly suggest families utilize their mystudent account.
• Update Blue Card with new information regularly

Dress for Success
• Mayda Cortiella is a uniform school. Uniforms should be worn daily. Uniform polo/ t-
shirts can be purchased at the school. Please see the Parent Coordinator.
• We ask that 3K- Kindergarten scholars keep an extra set of clothing in the classroom
in case of accidents.

September Dates to Remember
• Thursday, September 12, 2024, Evening Parent Teacher conference for 3K- 5th grade
students.
